Community Site Support January 22, 2012 8:37 amWe had a ‘false’ scare over the past few days. On my computer, every time I visited our website, my virus scanner would freak out saying that something was trying to install malware on my computer.

Community Site Support: August 17, 2011 7:18 amI am working with the plugin author about a bug in our event management system. When fixed, this will allow all experience community members to create and events–while still being moderated for the public calendar. Stay tuned.
And if you see your name pop up on an event, it’s cause I created it with you as the point person. Enjoy!

Community Site Support: July 9, 2011 10:05 pmA friend who went to Gem State Academy, went to a Bible study where a pastor of another denomination explained why the seventh-day sabbath no longer needs to be kept. She said she took notes and he had good explanations. The sabbath wasnt needed after the crucifiction and instead of having one day a week as a Sabbath we should be living in Christ…[Read more]

Community Site Support: March 24, 2011 1:41 pmJust fixed: A bug that caused some text to be cut off on the right hand side of the screen (the last letter or so) on replies that were deep (multiple layers). At least it looks good on my screen now. If you have problems with this or see this error crop up again, let me know. Thanks.

Community Site Support: March 20, 2011 8:02 pmSlightly new look for the website. There was an upgrade to the theme that we are using with the website, and I didn’t realize it would change so much. Much of my day today has been fixing little bits of code that didn’t transfer over from the old theme.
If you see anything that looks wrong, please reply here and I will add it to my to-do list.

One of the main reasons people choose to keep Sunday is as a memorial of Jesus’ resurrection. This is well intentioned, however Jesus never tells us to do this. With this premise in mind, some people in other denominations have taken and twisted the scriptures around to support this premise.
The logic is correct that we should be living for…[Read more]
Thanks for the reply, I just now got around to reading it. My comment to my friend was that I didnt understand how “Christians” could read and know the Bible yet disregard all the times the seventh day Sabbath is mentioned. It is plain as day to me, why not others? Keeping the Sabbath is one of the hardest things for me to do since…[Read more]
What I have found is that the disconnect is not in the mentioning of Sabbath, but in the significance they feel it still has. To a typical Christian, the Sabbath has been modified to be a Sunday memorial of Christ’s resurrection. They base this claim loosely on about three verses in the New Testament, while discounting the much greater evidence…[Read more]
