A Backpacking Trip For Men and Young Men
August 13-15, 2010
Rainbow Lake, Idaho
This will be a great trip, even if you have never gone backpacking. The trail mileage is relatively short, and the elevation gains are very moderate. We welcome men and young men 10 years old and up. If you have sons, nephews, grandsons, or family friends who are young men, bring them along. It is important for the young men in our community to be involved with older men in outdoor manly pursuits.
Your guides will be Jack Witt and Mark Biggs. Jack has hiked and backpacked all over the Northwest for many years. Mark has backpacked and climbed in most of the Western states, as well as Alaska and in the Alps. Their experience in hiking, route finding, camp cooking, first aid, and nature will increase your enjoyment of this trip. We look forward to your participation.
Cost: Your gas, your food, your equipment. No additional fees.
DEPARTURE: We will leave from The Experience at 1 pm Aug 13.
RETURN: We will be back to The Experience around 5pm Aug 15.
